About the Maltipoo Breed

Maltipoos make perfect companions for families, empty nesters and everyone in between. They are highly devoted to their humans and love accompanying them on walks – not forgetting the couch! Not only that, but they do not shed fur or hair and can easily thrive as an apartment dog.

Maltipoos are patient and kind companions for anyone, whether young or old. They’ll fit right into any home-whether it’s a busy family circus or just one person sitting at the table. A Maltipoo will never get bigger than 20 pounds, and this is because of their adorable personality and nearly “hypoallergenic” coat. These reasons make them popular with first time dog owners as well as animal lovers in general!

Maltipoos won’t grow to be more than 14 inches tall, putting them in the small dog category. They can range anywhere from 5–20 pounds. The soft coat is typically a medium-to-long length that’s wavy or curly; thanks to their diverse parent breeds, they can be any color (most commonly white and cream). As a designer breed it can be tough to predict what the Maltipoo will look like for certain; they may have bicolor coats or tricolor hair.
